BADM689. GLOBAL CAPITAL MARKETS & INTERNATIONAL FINANCE

This course is designed to provide an understanding of international finance within the context of global capital markets. The focus is on global capital markets and the financial management of firms that operate in the emerging global competitive environment. The course will examine the different types of securities in the capital markets across debt, equity, and derivatives and how these different markets around the world interact to create value for corporations and their stakeholders. Considerable attention will also be directed to specific topics of international finance such as international investment management, foreign exchange markets, managing exchange rate exposure and risk, and various other risk management issues.
